Your recipes are personal. Here’s how Plated handles your data.
What data Plated collects
Plated stores the content you add to the app: recipe titles, ingredients, instructions, notes, recipe photos, and meal plan data.
Only if you sign in, Plated receives a unique user identifier provided by Sign in with Apple. Plated receives an email address only if you choose to share one. If you choose to hide your email, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of your real email address.
How your data is stored and used
Your recipes, photos, and meal plans are stored locally in the app on your device. If you enable sync, this data is also backed up to Supabase, a third-party database and hosting provider, so it can sync across your own devices.
Your data is not shared with other users or sold to third parties. Supabase stores synced data to provide backup and sync for you.
Sign in with Apple
Plated uses Sign in with Apple solely to authenticate your account. Plated does not use it for advertising or profiling.

Deleting your account and data
You can delete your account and all associated data from within the app, including your recipes, photos, meal plans, Apple sign-in identifier, and any email address associated with your account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Children
Plated is not directed at children under 13.
